Women's empowerment is the process of enhancing women's social, economic, and educational capabilities. It refers to a society in which women and men have equal rights in the community, society, and workplace. To "empower women" means to give them more power or to improve their overall position, status, and situation in all aspects of life. To realize the full potential of economic, political, and social development, women must be empowered and their status improved.

The phrase "women empowerment" implies that women aren't powerful enough and must be empowered. This painful reality has existed for a very long time. Women have historically been viewed as weaker or subordinate to men. Their freedom was suppressed all over the world by patriarchal societies, they were not permitted to vote or express any opinion and they were confined to their homes. But how often do we stop to consider why the world is so unfair? Is there anyone who has thought about it? We can't deny that there is still gender inequality. It is more prevalent in our society, particularly in the so-called rural, underdeveloped areas.

Gender equality is, first and foremost, a human right. A woman has the right to live in dignity, free from deprivation and fear. Women's empowerment is also an important tool for advancing development and alleviating poverty. Women who are empowered improve the health and productivity of their families and communities, as well as the prospects for future generations.

Discrimination against women and girls, however, remains the most pervasive and persistent form of inequality, including gender-based violence, economic discrimination, reproductive health inequities, and harmful traditional practices. Women are still far more likely than men to be poor and illiterate, despite numerous international agreements affirming their human rights. They typically have less access to medical care, property ownership, training, and employment opportunities than men. They are far less likely to participate in politics and far more likely to be victims of domestic violence than men. The ability of women to manage their own fertility is essential to their empowerment and equality. Women realized as time went on that their lives were much more than just serving in the household. The world began to witness the rise of women as more and more women began to break down man-made barriers. Unlike men, women never try to silence the opposite gender's voice.

Women today have more freedom than ever before. They are free to make their own decisions. There is, however, still a long way to go. Women must raise their voices in opposition to the use of religion to oppress them. Females are not eligible for all military positions. In the film industry, sports, and regular jobs, there is a wage disparity. Women must use their hard-won power to end all of the injustices to which they have been subjected. Women's empowerment would result in a more developed and better society. The world will undoubtedly become a better place to live if women and men contribute equally to the benefit of society.
